As a mother of five children and one grandchild- family is very important to me. Likewise- their health. Nurture is to nature as nature is to nurture- and I guess I am a fan of them both. The cycle of life is a beautiful one, and I aim to be a positive force in the life of everyone I encounter. I love to meet new people and value their thoughts and opinions. I went to school for Respiratory Therapy because I wanted to help people with breathing problems- my mother passed from both lung cancer and COPD. The program was very informative, and the clinical- profound, but I had to leave the program to take on another job once my niece came to live with me after her mother's health declined. The compassion I have to help others has never left. I worked as a caregiver for a company in California for two years and also for a private family. Taking care of a loved one can be very difficult, especially when one must juggle a career and children's activities as well. I know it's hard to manage your time under the circumstances, but this is where I come in. Realizing you need help, is the first step to getting it. I'm ready to help your loved one reach and maintain their potential physically, and emotionally. I am an honest, caring, trustworthy, funny (at least I think so), empathetic, and understanding caregiver, ready to assist in your time of need. I've worked with seniors who've had problems with dementia, mobility issues, MS, diabetes, high blood pressure, post-operative surgery, stroke victims, and more. I aim to give my clients the best in quality care.
