I am new to the area but not to the profession of health care. I have been working as a privet duty caregiver since I was 15 years old. Became a CNA in 2004 and currently hold a certification in Illinois and Alabama. I am in the process of getting Florida. I have a clear background accepted by DCF. I am; PCM, CPR, first aide, and HIV certified. I also have a clear TB test. I have taken and passed zero tolerance and core competency. I am also a certified care giver for CDC+. I pride myself on making my clients more than just a job or profession to me. If I was to be hired I can guarantee that I am punctual, and that every client is family to me. I apply the best morals and values to my every day work environment, and every move I make is in the best interest of my client. I am able to manually lift and transfer patients if job requires it. I already have a live-scan background check. I have a vast amount of experience in; Alzheimer’s care, physical and mental disabilities, assisting with medications, behavioral problems, patients with limited or no self- motor skills, and Cerebral Palsy. This is not merely a job for me it’s a calling, I don’t do this type of work just to pay bills, I enjoy making people smile, taking care of them, and helping them care for them. I know each client has different needs, some require food prep and house work along with other services. This is not an issue for me. I do not have a Florida driver’s licenses, but I do have a valid license.
