About Shayla

I became a caregiver because of my passion for health care. I felt there was a shortage of genuine people to care for others. I left being a CNA to work for Donor Network of Arizona because I wanted to obtain more medical knowledge. My job as an Ocular Recovery Technician gave me a plethora of experience in chart reviewing. I had a baby and took a year off of work with intentions of getting back into being a CNA. My family moved to Las Vegas and I needed a job immediately, so I got a position in a hotel. This is not where I want to be and now in search of a position doing what I love. Taking care of people. I enjoy applying the knowledge that I have acquired while also making people feel as if their own family member is taking care of them. When I earned my Associate's Degree in Health Administration, I couldn't have been more proud. I am the second person in my family to earn a degree. I earned my CNA shortly after and immediately started working in the Emergency Room for Arizona Heart Hospital. People always tell me that they feel comfortable around me and usually open up quickly. I pride myself in that quality. I'm also stern and thorough.
