I have been in the caregiving field since 2006 when I first worked as a DSP in Tucson, AZ. I loved working with the residents and ensuring a quality of life for them. The job ended to work full time elsewhere but I still worked with a disabled relative on a weekly basis. In 2009, I moved an elderly resident into my home as she had nowhere to go after a fall in California left her in need of an assisted living environment. She lived with me until her passing in 2012 at the age of 95 yrs old. This experience led me to earn my CNA and continue working with Alzheimer's/Dementia adults or disabled adults.
