About Minda

A lifetime of helping and caring for others including my own child after being born with a rare congenital heart defect and surgery as a newborn. I'm a nurturer and gain fulfillment from doing what I can to make every day the best day possible for those I care for. My father, a pilot was in an aircraft crash when I was a small child and I helped with his comfort through my childhood. Although I never worked as a professional caregiver until my middle age, I did work as a volunteer for family and friends who needed it in the short term. My enjoyment comes from the smiles I receive and the feeling of making of difference. I am proud that I raised two beautiful daughters, who are now adults who help others and I achieved a 30+ year career in medical transcription. I achieved my bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and an education in Occupational Therapy. At this time, I am working only part-time on weekends and have my weekdays free and would prefer, at this time, to return to caregiving.
