The reason I've decided to become a caregiver is that after the last 3 yrs as a nanny to a wonderful family I wanted to try the other end of the spectrum, so to speak. I helped care for my grandfather while he was sick and dying from cancer and though it was tough to watch him suffer, I know I helped to make him as comfortable as possible and I took great joy in knowing that I personally helped him. I'm looking to build a lasting relationship with a family that needs my services ... I'm nurturing, patient, fun, empathetic, dependable, giving and go above & beyond of whats expected. My grandfather made a big difference in my life and I'm wanting to pay it forward by helping a family and in way, a surrogate grandchild and/or child if the person has never had any.
