Hi there! My name is Sonia Martinez. I have been passionately doing this for 22yrs. In those 22 yrs, i have had the opportunity to work with a fantastic rehab team for two yrs. I had the privilege to show new employees the proper way of doing transfers in and out of bed, to and from a wheelchair. I also showed them how to use machinery for transfers such as the hoyer lift and the sit to stand machines known as the pal lift, sally lift, and sabino lift. I have lots of experience with hospice patients, patients with dementia and Alzheimer's. I have also done wound care. I am very familiar with catheters, g-tubes, ng-tubes. I have worked hospitals, nursing homes, private duty, home health and hospice. I am very proud of all my accomplishments that I have achieved throughout my career. I am also cpr/first-aide certified.
