I became a Caregiver as a means of gaining experience in the field of Nursing. Caregiving is a very rewarding profession, By assisting the Elderly in my community, it provides me a great sense of well-being, the care I give them, helps make their lives be more enriched and comfortable. I have gained experience with patients diagnosed with Alzheimers/dementia, the unique care that is involved with this debilitating disease. I am proud of the level of compassion I have for fellow human beings in need and have the ability to be a positive person no matter what situation I find myself in. Due to recently overcoming a physical disease, not for a moment did I allow it to prevent me from working hard and achieving my goals and being the best possible Caregiver I could be. It has taught me how much inner fortitude I have as a human being. On a personal note, I am a caring and giving 49 years of age woman. I have been blessed in this life to have raised 3 wonderful and accomplished children. I love to paint and enjoy the outdoors. I am punctual and polite and have a wonderful work ethic.
