I am a great caregiver because I'm a grandmother who lives quite a distance from my grand babies and I need a family to take care of during a difficult time. I initially answered my friends request for help in getting housework and cooking done while Mom was in hospice. But they had filled that position so they asked me to try caring for Mom. I fell in love with her. It gives me a sense of purpose to take care of another. I'm a great cook and my "Mom" tells me I'm the one who makes the "eating things."
