Hi there! My name is Bryan, I have been in healthcare for twenty one years. I started as a cna in a skilled facility. I did that for five years and then started working with the developmentally disabled in semi-independent living situations as well as AHF's. After that, I became an activities assistant, in a skilled facility. That was one of the most amazing jobs ever. I got to create programs at night for residents with sundowners as well as the ones who were bored. Since then, I have done home care as well as working in facilities. I was born to take care of people and that is that. I've done home care from total quadriplegic care, down to basic companionship and housekeeping. I focus on my client and build relationships on what we have in common and their interests. Connection is important. I have also done a lot of end of life care. Helping the client stay comfortable and help the family understand the process that their loved one is going through. You name it and I have probably encountered it. I am ready to build a schedule with new clients and look forward to hearing from you!

What makes me a good caregiver ? I love being able to help others that can't help themselves . At the end of the day sometimes as caregiver we are all the patients have they depend of us to.give them good care . What attracted me to become.a caregiver was see the compassion some of the caregivers have for there clients.

I love helping people. I am very compassionate to those I serve. I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I completed my Nurse Assistant Training in 1989. It takes a special person to be a Caregiver. It is essential to be patient and kind, dependable, knowledgeable and SKILLED. It is also necessary to be creative when issues arrive. CPR and First Aid must be required; I have both the skills and certification. I handle emergencies calmly, efficiently, and professionally. Having a sense of humor is also a plus! I also enjoy learning about my clients ie, where they were born, where they spent their childhood or went to school, their first job, etc. It gives me great joy to be a Caregiver, my true calling! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, fly fishing, camping, and exploring. I love to read and visit my local county libraries often. I love animals, especially dogs and cats. Growing up in Oregon, I was involved in 4H and FFA and Girl Scouts. I love animals, growing flowers, rock hounding, buying art, attending plays and concerts, and visiting museums.

I am native to the Willamette valley and have spent the last 7 years practicing in the wellness field. I have worked in a variety of care giving positions and have been drawn to working with seniors at various times. I appreciate being helpful to elders and assisting them with activities of daily living in a productive and charismatic way. Hello, my name is Michael, and I've been in the care giving field since 2010. Being a care giver wasn't something I ever saw myself doing, but after getting a job to support myself in college, I found that it was something I wasn't just naturally great at, but that I enjoyed doing as well. Meeting people of different ages and backgrounds over the years has been such an amazing experience for me. I just love being able to get to know individuals, and being a light for them in an otherwise difficult world. I'm not the most outgoing person around, but I do have a knack for building deep relationships with those whom I care for. I've had more than one job where I come into work and I have 2 or 3 people immediately shout, "Michael is heeere!" It's such an amazing feeling when that happens, and I know it helps brighten up both their day and mine. I'm also someone who holds professionalism in the highest regard. As much as I enjoy building relationships with others, I always maintain those professional boundaries.
