I am a great caregiver, because I always do my best with alot of passion. My goal is to comport, encourage and make my client feel much better than I found them. Also i remind my clients to count their blessings more than what their facing on a daily basis. I always wanted to be caregiver because i knew i am capable and talented in bringjng a difference in people's daily life. I enjoy alot of things while I am delivering direct care to my clients . But one thing that stands out, when my client is doing much better that I found them because my care it brings alot of joy and encouragement that my goal as a caregiver is meet. I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. My personality traits that help me to be a great caregiver is being a dependable, reliable, and trustworthy caregiver. My mom attracted me to be a caregiver because she was always bragging about how much she really loved her job so I wanted to have that same feeling about something I love to do. I am 58 years old. I have been a CNA for more than twenty years. I love my job as a caregiver. I became a caregiver when I was 16 years old working in A nursing home. I like being able to help others. It is rewarding and satisfying to learn about others and know that in your work you can make a Positive difference in your clients life. I respect and provide thorough and responsive hands on care . Necessary to maximize care , and safety with in the scope of my Certification to my clients. I Wanted to improve my knowledge of health care. So I took a Medical Assistant class at MedVance Institute and Graduated with a 4.0 grade average. I lost my Husband in 1994, My sons were teenagers, I raised two wonderful sons while working as a private duty care giver.
