I became a caregiver due to i love supporting others in need. I am compassionate. I am always open minded to learn different skills to maintain great quality of care and I have patience. What I like about being a caregiver is meeting new people to help them through their time of need. I've been a certified caregiver since 2013. I decided to pursue a career in this field due to the fact that I cared for my grandfather. I'm passionate about what I do. I not only care for a person I become a companion. I try to make them as comfortable as possible with whatever it is they're battling. I thoroughly enjoy making them feel and look good. I have a great personality, I'm funny, nice to be around and very patient. I've cared for my children and my mother in law and I love to help people. Knowing that someone need help and I can help them warms my heart. The best thing that I did for myself was to get CNA license and get out of the retail business, we're I wasn't happy at.

I became a caregiver because when my mother was sick with stage 4 colon cancer, I would help the caregiver who was helping take care of my mom. I would see how she took her time with her and she didn't even know her! There is not a lot of people out here that have that integrity and I loved her for that. So much that I now have become the best caregiver that I can be.
