My names are Anne Marion. I am a dependable and compassionate caregiver. I have been working in the home care industry for 6years. In the past, i have assisted clients with there activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, home exercise, taking vital signs, and maintained a clean household. Caregiving has been my calling and career for the past thirly years. I have worked in a variety of health care settings. However, homecare has been mostly my focus. I enjoy assisting clients to remain in the comfort of their homes. I am a self starter, diligent, attentive and compassionate caregivers. I have great passion working with seniors and people who need help as well. I started of in the caregiving field with taking care of my grandfather. In the process I got to learn a lot and I did enjoy doing it. I treat every client like my own family with love and compassion. Every client had different needs, so I get to understand the client first and foremost. I mostly enjoy the learning process in caregiving, no matter how long one has been a caregiver, we get to learn new things every time. I once had a client who had dementia (late stage), who did not want to go to bed (it was late at night). One thing that the client enjoyed was watching animal documentaries . I showed the client pictures of different animals that I had taken when I went to Kenya and the client calmed down and I was able to redirect the client to bed. My patience with the client helped me assure the client that I was on her side. This scenario really made me proud of the caregiver that I'm becoming. I love what I do.

Hello, my name is Elisa I am 59 years old My caregiving started in 1995 , as my Mother became ill , I knew she would want a high level of in home care that I would personally be able to provide. As her illness became more advanced , it was important to me that she be able to stay in her home where she would be more comfortable. A few time a week turned into every day, then several hours a day. My Mothers wishes to be at home in her time of need was fulfilled . And it was a blessing and a honor to be there for her. I found myself wanting to give other families the same opportunity my Mother was given. I continued working closely with other families as well as with the IHSS of King Co. from 1995 till 2001.Then in California in Contra Costa Co. From 2002 - 2009 then , I returned back to Washington State where I have continued my work with private families.
