-Went to Los Medanos College for EMT (EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRAINING) -Studied CNA at Nightingale Nurses in Pleasant Hill California. More than 20 years of care giving experience. I enjoy being a helpful hand to all my clients and I aim for perfection with all of my visits.

Caregiving has been my calling and career for the past thirly years. I have worked in a variety of health care settings. However, homecare has been mostly my focus. I enjoy assisting clients to remain in the comfort of their homes. I am a self starter, diligent, attentive and compassionate caregivers. To me giving care is a calling, also I like treating our seniors the way I would like to be treated when I become one.

Turning or moving patients. Gathering medical supplies. Bathing patients. Grooming patients by brushing their hair, teeth, shaving them, etc. Feeding patients and documenting their food and liquid intake. Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate. Answering patient calls.

I love bing with people.Being a caregiver is not only a job but also it is a source of my satisfaction. After I help my residents, I always get mind satisfaction. I can communicate with people very easily.

I have worked as a private home health care provider for seniors for over 22 years. Being a caregiver is not for everyone but I can say this is my calling in the past 22 years. I'm Anita 27 years, South African, when I was there I worked as a caregiver for seniors from the ages of 48to 89 in large groups of 4 to 7 for a year where I assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer's diseases with daily living needs and I also worked as a private caregiver. I am a compassionate person and enjoy providing care to people of different ages. It gives me great satisfaction to think I am of help to someone and making a difference in daily living of the clients. I'm a very active and responsible person, deeply committed to treating elderly with dignity and respect.I like music, reading and being outside taking a walk. I'm a student and looking forward to pursue my goal to continue my studies during fall. I'm very aware of Covid, I wear a mask every time I go out to the essentials, social distancing and I barely go out.
