My names are Anne Marion. I am a dependable and compassionate caregiver. I have been working in the home care industry for 6years. I pride my self on being able to quickly learn and adapt to any situation. In the past, i have assisted clients with there activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, home exercise, taking vital signs, and maintained a clean household. I try to connect with my client spending time with them, going for a walk and driving to shopping and appointments. Sometime I assisted with laundry, cooking and house keeping depending on what the client ask.

Personally i have empathy and compassion to people with various condition like,pple with disability due to impairement,sickly pple who need my assistance. What i enjoy most,is when i give care to the client and help them gain their self confidence and treat them equally and with respect and by the end of the day is rewarding to see that person happy and fulfilled.

I have been a caregiver for 20 years: I joined a full-time church ministry and was ordained as clergy. I served as a hospital chaplain for five years in my clergy position. When offering spiritual and moral support to my patients, I discovered I could be involved in extended care. I provided personal hygiene and bathroom services to my patients as a chaplain. This was because I cared so much about my patient's well-being (I do). I did my CNA certification and joined the caregiver's vocation. I have diverse experiences in the medical field and facilities. I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing Facilities, Adult family homes/ group homes, home health aides, hospice aides, and medication technicians. I have a calling and am very passionate about serving patients; I feel fulfilled when I make patients feel comfortable and well-supported. I take delight in the care I offer to my client. Helping patients feel and recognize warm, tender, gentle, and good-natured caregiving. I am a hard-working caregiver, Neat and organized. I communicate where needed with the families and others concerned. I assist my clients with all their daily needs and activities. I am a people person and love taking care of people. At the end of the day, it makes me feel good to know I helped someone else. I tend to go above and beyond for others, it comes natural for me. Going through the training to become certified has been a personal achievement, I was nervous at first, thought it would take forever. When I finished the training and became certified I felt great, because I could continue taking care of others. I am Covid-19 vaccinated.

To me Caregiving is a passion, i enjoy doing it! I started with my grandmother who had breastcancer and being by her side everyday of her last days gave me so much joy, since then I knew helping the needy is what I wanted to do. What I enjoy most about my job is seing a smile on my clients faces when I help them, them looking forward to seing me the next day and me doing the same. In my previous job in an adult family home I was the lead caregiver where I worked for 1year 3 months, ive also worked with different one on one clients and assited living facilities.

I'm compassionate , caring and a kind person who after caring for my aging , diabetic and arthritic mum felt a great need to give care to more in need. I enjoy and get satisfied when i offer care and the recepient likes it and feels helped and cared for. Clients always look foward to being treated right and when there's an improvement in a client I'm taking care of for example being able to help in controlling sugar levels through a heathy diet, that's normally a personal achievement for me as well as a benefit to the client.

The help may just call for daily living activities with extra touches that make life worthwhile: decent exercise, tasty healthy meals, a clean, pleasant environment, a good listener and conversationalist, and kind, competent care. Some situations, however, require attending to seemingly insignificant, but crucial tasks, such as reminders to drink enough liquids, to move body and limbs periodically to avoid pressure points and muscle atrophy. I believe my care is dispensed with respect, kindness, and purpose, mindful their need for such greater than ever. A general "How are you?" might be followed with a specific "Do you feel dizzy",; and too long a spell on the couch will suggest an exercise or outside to smell the roses. The idea, above all, is to provide for the well-being of body and soul. A wise tip I learned is to give old people something to look forward to, whether a fun treat or an item in their bucket list. It may not always be possible, but sometimes, even just trying helps. My career history is eclectic, but caregiving suits me because I believe I make a difference in the lives of those in my care; more often than not, the tables are turned to make me pay attention. I consider my charges' health and well-being challenges, such as easing a cynic's attitude with kindness or making one's last days a comfort. By researching and learning about their ailments before I take over, I make certain I "do no harm". I have gained hands on and annual online training from Home Health Aide courses and nurse delegated work. An energetic, resourceful worker, I offer empathy, kindness, and a bright outlook. They are what I gave my mom, now lovingly sent off to join dad, with plenty to spare for others.
