I am empathetic, compassionate, and passionate about providing exceptional care to clients. For the past four years I have worked with students on the spectrum, ADHD, Tourette's, Down Syndrome etc and assisted them with basic life skills, and taught them academic skills. It was such a rewarding experience to watch them grow and learn as the school year went by. What attracted to me being a caregiver is being able to assist and support those with special needs, and I enjoy it because over time teaching them everyday life and academic skills, they end up growing and learning the more I connect with them, and that's a very rewarding feeling. Personal achievement I am most proud of has to be receiving my NCLB certification from the school district because it gave me the ability and experience that I have today to work with students and clients with special needs.
