About Linda

Hello! My name is Linda Ibarra and my passion is to work with people. I have worked in the Human Services field for over 15 years. I have mostly worked with individuals with developmental disabilities in a home setting, day program, recreation program, rehabilitation institute and school. I have done direct care as well as coordinating programs and supervising employees. I have also worked in a skilled nursing facility as an Activity Director. Nothing brings me more joy than working with people that I can help and make a difference in their lives. I enjoy connecting with people and developing meaningful long-lasting relationships with individuals that I can also learn from. I have been told that I have the ability to connect with individuals that others usually find more difficultly connecting with. I take a personal interest in every individual I work with and always make sure that I am providing them with the highest quality of care. I enjoy art, photography, music, playing the ukulele and walking/exercising! Hablo Espanol!

I'm responsible, reliable, good listener , loving ,caring person and most of all patience. My experience in hospitality industry lead me to this work, where I was able to help and volunteer to a group of seniors who come and eat in our restaurant. The part I enjoy most is listening to their story especially if their trying hard to remember and try to help them through it. Personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I m able to use my experience to the most people who need it.

Why did I become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because of my desire to help others especially the elderly. My passion and dedication for seniors is very important to me. Nothing brings me great pleasure in assisting people that are in need of some care. My greatest achievement in life are my children. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of six. Teaching my children to respect and help others gives me the satisfaction that when in some giving time I need help, they will assist me just like I assist and care for others in the same manner. I'm not just a caregiver but a friend and if God gave me the patience, understanding and caring way to help others than I am here for that. God bless you and hope to assist anyone in need.
