I am an exceptional communicator, and have deep compassion for people in need of care and support. I am especially careful, kind and compassionate with those suffering memory loss. A large portion of my career I taught physical education to children kindergarten through eighth grade. Some of those students were severely handicapped, and I learned the true meaning of patience and compassion. From my teaching experience, I branched out into caregiving for the handicapped and elderly. My greatest accomplishment in care giving has been caring for both my Father and my Mother through stage 4 lung and stomach cancer, plus advanced Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I am very timely as it pertains to schedules and medications . I'm a Fantastic cook!! And I love old stories and black n white movies.
