I am pleasant and up-beat! What I Offer: 1. Driving the client to appointments, the Senior Center, the gym or wherever they choose. I can use their vehicle or mine. I have a clean driving record. 2. Remind client to take Med and prompt to do exercises advised by their doctor. 3. Prepare a snack, breakfast, lunch and dinner 4. Light housekeeping: doing dishes, laundry, taking out the trash, bringing in the mail 6. Personal Care 5. As a bonus, I provide art activities as well. If interested, I'll supply adult coloring books along with colored pencils, markers and crayons as well as other activity books. I find these activities very calming, inspirational and just plain fun! It gives them something to look forward to. This can turn an ordinary day into an extra ordinary one! Since I am a Companion, I'm a very good listener. The elderly has a lot of wisdom to offer. I enjoy listening to their stories and being of service in this way. Since my position is medical, I assist with medication reminder, maintain good hygiene of the patient, helping the patient gain their basic motor functions, developing good relations with the patient and family, preparing food, being available during emergencies, & running all medical errands for the patient.
