I became a caregiver because my Uncle needed someone to help with all of his needs due to his age. I found it very rewarding to help him as well as others in the community. I too will be in need of a caregiver one day. What I like about being a caregiver is the appreciation I get from the elderly in need. After receiving my bachelors degree in psychology I am able to use what I have learned in a volunteer position with people who needed help with the grieving process.
