I am a caring, compassionate, honest and dependable person. My experience includes one year as a caregiver for an elder gentleman, who was fighting leukemia. During the year that I was caring for him, I was responsible for G tube feeding, meds, ordering and delivery of required medical products, errands, shopping for groceries and needed items and banking. We were great friends and companions. The gentleman, sadly, passed away approximately one year after I was hired to care for him. At that time, his spouse asked me to stay on as a full time live-in house sitter and pet sitter. I lived there in that position, for another five years. I currently am caregiver for an elderly woman, on a six month basis. She has become well enough that she no longer has need for a caregiver.
