I have a compassion for the elderly, and for animals. I have helped care for my grandmother who had Alzheimer's disease, and my Grandfather who had Dementia. And I remember the wonderful stories they told before the awful diseases took over. I have also found that being one on one with special needs children are some of the most fulfilling moments of my life. I live close to my elderly parents to help them, also. I was raised to respect the elderly, and to help. My mother was a CNA for many years, and showed me that helping and caring for people can be very rewarding. I am a stay at home wife now, we moved from Tehachapi so I can be near my parents. I am looking for something meaningful to do and to hopefully make a friend, and to bring happiness to someone I am caring for.
