I became a caregiver ,and got into the medical field, because of my grandma. She was a big influence on me, she became blind and couldn't take of herself. My family hired someone to tend to her ,and instead they didn't give her meds she needed, and stoled form her , so my family ended up having to put my grandma in a nursing home. I currently work my cousin at her assisted living care center , where I help take care of ten residents. I enjoy being a caregiver due to the fact that I am currently in school working on my nursing degree, because I want to give back and help people and know I made a difference . My personal achievement that I am proud of is recently this past May I graduated from junior college with my A/S degree going forward to getting my Bachlors degree in nursing. Something about myself is that I like to laugh and make other people laugh and smile as well.
