I always knew I wanted a career in healthcare. I wanted to help people. My journey started by persuing a career in food and nutrition and although I enjoyed everything I learned and every experience. I realized that I wanted to do something that was more personal and more hands on. This made me think about a career in nursing. Not only was I going to get to meet new people and help them one on one; I was going to get the opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience. This is why I became a CNA.
