Communication is a big part that partakes in being a caregiver. These skills include speaking as well as listening, and to engage the patients to make sure they are saying and follow directions to ensure the needs and treatments are understood. Skills and traits also include problem solving skills and flexibility. I've been caring for the elderly for a while now with my first experience being in community work at Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in High school. What I enjoy most of being a caregiver is seeing improvement and or relief to their health, plus working with elders makes me value conversations because most of the time it's personal and non-personal tips, and who wouldn't was tips from a veteran of life. A personal achievement I am proud of is maintaining jobs and school.
