I became a caregiver because I always love to hang out with my grandmother and her friends. So as I got older and they became older and I seen that they needed more help with various things I realize that a lot more seniors may need help with various task and they may not have the help. I like being a caregiver because it make a difference in many people life. I am proud of myself because so many people that I have worked for and their families have given me so many complements about the way I handle my job. I have been a caregiver for 14yrs. I have also worked with people with special needs, I have also have been a foster parent for 5 yrs. I have worked with patients that live in senior facilities that may need their own private caregiver while living in the facility.
