I became a caregiver, because I learned early on that helping others & having compassion was something that came naturally. Also, as a youth I would watch my mother get dressed in her Nursing uniform, and witnessed how she enjoyed being in the Medical field, that it influenced me to be a part of the Medical Profession. What I like about being a caregiver is that Im allowed to participate in a clients process of wellness, provide comfort to the client so that it promotes stability in her/his everday living activities. The personal achievements that I am proud of is that, I received my GED in 2003. I then went to community college, enrolled, and now eligible to take the Licensed Vocational Nursing Examination. I am very self-motivated, reliable, and have exceptional communicational skills. I am able to perform effectively under critical scenarios, without compromising quality of care to a client. Which makes me an asset to my Employer, and client.
