Hi my name is Mariola Getter, I am a 35 year old woman. I am coming from the Netherlands 6 months ago to be with my husband to build a life together here in Calabasas! I am a regístrated nurse from the Netherlands and specializes in Intensive care Nursing. The last nine years I was working on ICU in Dutch hospitals. Before that I worked in elderly homes, with disability clients, taking care of people in there home ( mostly elderly or young disabled clients) Have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, COPD, wheelchair, CPR, and a lot more. You can always ask me. I have my American driver lisence, ID card, workpermit and SSN. I am working on my RN registration with boarding of nursing of California! This is taking along time, so before I can be a nurse here I like to work in the caregiving. So the client can stay at is own safe home. My last job I worked at the hospital HagaZiekenhuis in The Hague in The Netherlands! I worked there on the ICU and had to take care of 1 or 2 patient. I washed and dressed them, helped them with eating normal or give them food by feeding tube. Shave man, brush there teeth. Take them out bed in the chair. Give them a safe environment and company. Give there medicine, helped them with toiletries. And jump in when there were emergency situations ( cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest--> start CPR, give medicine Iv, helping intubating. Talking with the family, helped them to communicate with there beloved ones (on breathing machine you can't talk, so with writing or closed questions) Make a plan if they were staying longer then 10 days on the ICU
