I feel I'm a good caregiver because I care about the people who I meet. I became a caregiver because there are a lot of people who need help with their day to day living ,who have gotten older ,or, are not able to do the things for themselves like they once did. It may be temporary or it may be long term. It also runs in our family ,my mother was an LVN and my daughter is a CNA also ,it seems to come natural. What I like about caregiving is I meet new people , build new relationships and ,it makes me feel good to help others. I learn new things always from person to person. I learn new techniques and new situations on how I may help others.

She is a cancer survivor. During this time I also helped take care of my brother who had Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2016.

My client has been on hospice for 6 months and qI am very saddened but need to update on my client I have been with her for three and a half years she just passed away March 2019.
