Born and raised in Kentucky on a small farm. Attended Ivy Tech in Indiana and received my Medical Assisting degree. Worked in that field for 15 years then was the owner operator of a family restaurant in Ventura County for 19 years. After selling my business in 2007 I decided to combine my passions, and started working as a personal chef / caregiver. I have been married for 35 years, have 3 successful daughters and 2 young grand daughters. Absolutely adore the elderly, love to cook and have a very good way of making people feel at ease, loved and safe.

I am compassionate, caring, hardworking, reliable, honest and trustworthy caregiver. I have 18 years experience working for patient on different times with parkinson, diabetes, alszhiemer stage 1-7, dementia, g-tube, catheter, down syndrome, celebral palsy, intellectual disability, autism patient and many more. I love my work as a caregiver, it is a rewarding work to help others who need help with their daily living; make their life more comfortable by performing routine care and activities such as bathing assistance, grooming, incontenence, ambulatory, exercise, meal prep, medication, doctor's appointment, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, laundry, included fed and walk the pet (only if client has pet). I care for my patient with respect, patience, caring, understanding and dignity. Patient safety is my first priority as their caregiver, followed closely by showing my patients I care about them. My normal rate is $20 per hour for a 12 hour shift, $25 for a 6 hour shift and $35 for one hour to 4 hours . The rate can be negotiable. Car mileage at $0.65 per mile if I use my vehicle for service a patient's care and errand.
