About Dina

When individuals think of becoming a caregiver, they think of taking care of an old person but it's more to it. It's being able to provide and care for someone's mom or dad. Someone's grandma or grandpa. Being able to satisfy the elderly's needs and make them feel safe at all times which is what attracted me to being a caregiver. I get satisfaction with seeing my patient comfortable and happy. My personal traits include being patient ,compassionate, and attentive. I enjoy being able to work with the elderly and put my communication and empathy skills to use. Getting to empathize and communicate with the elderly would be what I most definitely enjoy about being a caregiver. One of my biggest achievements i am proud of is being able to meet an elderly at my job named Mia. She was at a really bad place in her life where she was left with no family. I was able to be a helping shoulder where she had someone to listen to her and help her get through her problems. A week before she passed away she gave me the only possession that she owned which was her ring. She said I was the only person who ever sat with her and listened. I felt beyond satisfied knowing I was able to help someone and be a friend.
