7 years ago I started out by being a caregiver for my grandmother. She had a stroke and needed help getting around the house. Since then I've been working with others to help make their living easy. I've worked with people who have dementia. I enjoy helping others out . Especially to the ones who really need it. I worked at a memory care and assisting living facility for 6 years. I'm now looking for one on one care . I hope I can make you and your loves one life easier. I work full time but I'm free early mornings. Looking for a minimum of 15 hrs a week.Katy area ONLY.

I'm an extremely caring person. I have a 31 year old daughter, I am a widow and have a two cats. I have taken care of two disabled adults, two elderly couple that came out of surgery, a woman with Alzheimers and dementia, a gentleman with dementia. I made sure they were bathe, wash clothing, folded clothing, changed feeding tubes, drove them to doctor's appointments, drove them to visit neighbors, made breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner. I also would change the bed every other day. I did light cleaning. I consider myself to be attentive, kind and patient. I know that I can be there for someone if they needed a companion, or small duties of which I've already done in the past. I have a vehicle but I'd prefer to use the patient's vehicle for anything we have to go run errands for. I am currently living in Brookshire Texas. I am willing to learn or be trained for something I have not yet assisted with. I do not have a license as nurse but I am CPR Certified. I am willing to work with ages 25 and up. Will not take COVID vaccine. I would not like to work in an environment where there are too many animals or and pitbulls. I hope I can be of assistance.
