Hello I'm Jomaira Gaxiola and I'm an LVN student at Summit College! Ever since I was 10 I knew I was meant to help people and be in the medical field. When I was 10 years old I took care of some twins and helped the mom raise them and when I was 12 I took care of a family friend that had a stroke and was paralyzed from his left side and to this day I call him grandpa. As a caregiver I make sure my patients are well taken care of and are happy. I'm such an outgoing, hard working and loyal person. As a caregiver I can help with bathing, changing, feeding, cooking, doing laundry, light housekeeping, provide transportation and so much more! Being a caregiver over the years had made me grow and be the person I am to this day. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that connection I get to have with my patients and learning about there life etc. I feel the happiest when I can help someone in life and take care of them.
