Hello My Name is Esly De Leon I am 40 years old and I am a Latina women I am bilingual, I speak English and Spanish, I am a mother of three children and I am hard worker, I have working with elderly from 14 years,I really love my job I love when I can help others.

I've been a CNA since 1995. I've worked n several different types of facilities and homes taking care of the elderly. Ive worked in skilled nursing and rehab assisted living and I've worked with dementia and alzheimer residents which is my specialty. I've also done home health care privately and once for an agency. I've worked in another state working in 3 different types of settings owned by same company but I was able to work in all since I was skilled and had experience in all 3 types of facilities. I feel I've made great achievements in my work, I've been promoted to staffing and I've received employee of the month several times and also employee of the year. I've learned I have lots of patients and a soft voice and I'm not a rushed person when working with dementia alzheimer and all other residents. I am very loving caring and helpful but I also know how to keep residents doing skills they can still do so they don't lose that ability. The thing I love the most about being a CNA/Caregiver is the appreciation and love you get in return from the residents and even the family members. Even on the toughest days the love you get in return makes the job 100% worth it. One accomplishment I'm very proud of is my daughter who I raised around residents and in facilities became a CNA also and is a very good CNA and I'm very proud of her work skills.
