I am Chris and I would say what makes me a great care giver is ....... 1. Honest 2. Responsible 3 . Adaptable to any situation. I find that caring for others comes very natural for me. I think this is why I am drawn to it I use to work for a family business but wanted to do this type of work so started back up few years ago. I currently work for New Way sevices which cares for developly disabled adults but do this just 24 hours aweek at one of their group homes. I can show recent back ground check or i can do a new one. I have experience in elderly, child and paraplegic as well as development and mental adults which i do now. I am looking for more one on one opposed to what i have now which is 3 at a time. Chris

My role was more of a right hand man. I took care of all aspects of house and her except for personal care. She has early onset of Dementia and got tricky cause of her surgery done on her foot, she was laid up for 4 months . I then had to help her bathe, usually though it was house and her like meds, meal prep, errands, companion and kept house nice and clean and orderly and on Weekends did deep cleaning.

Tom Fujasaki

Tom was a quadriplegic and my duties were basically had to act like both his hands as well as legs. Light house keeping and cooking, meals and his medications had to attend to him with transfers and dressing, bathing, and was there for planned outings . I also had to do catheters and record out put. He had a really sweet family so we worked with his kids and wife to have as normal family setting as possible
