I really enjoy being a caregiver, it's something I can easily put my heart into. I absolutely love hearing stories about the people I'm caring for, what they did in their lifetime and all the memories they had. I like getting to know the person I am caring for as well as their friends or families. I don't like to look at care giving as a "job to do" but as amazing opportunity to get to know someone new and hear all about them. I don't want to be seen as a nurse, but as a friend. I lived in Colorado basically my whole life and Just recently moved out here. I am 22 years old and was certified as a CNA in Colorado, just haven't taken the time to get certified here. I can do all of the CNA duties, I'm just not certified in California quite yet, so pleeeeease don't let my lack of certification scare you!!!
