What makes me a great care giver is the fact that I really do care about the well being of others. I became a care giver when I became an EMT, but I was hurt on the job, and can no longer do the work of an EMT, but I still want to work in a care giving environment. I truly love making a difference in the quality of life of the people I care for, I want to see them thrive from my care. I have three accomplishments I am most proud of, the first is my children, they are all doing very well in school or their jobs, and I know that they will be fine as they get older. The second was becoming an EMT, I did this while two of my kids were still in grade school, it was hard, but I really loved doing it. Lastly was getting my AA in psychology, I did this while being in pain from my injury from work, but with the help of my husband and children I was able to complete this, and I am very proud of that.
