Becoming a Caregiver felt the natural choice for me. I love making other's lives easier and improve the quality of life. My goal is not only to ease the burden of the senior's ailments and the subsequent toll on their families, but also to make friends and memories to last a life time. My experience with seniors comes from aiding my Mother and Grandmother. I successfully helped them bathe, ambulate, shop, make and attend doctor appointments, pharmaceutical visits, maintain proper hygiene, exercise, remember and take medication(s), checking vital signs and more. For me, the most rewarding part of being a Caregiver is the sense of solidarity and accountability. I am very glad to help them because in doing so I discovered who I am and how I can help. Serving as a Caregiver is hard, stressful at times, heart-wrenching, and sometimes confusing. But the person you become and the environment you create for others is the greatest accomplishment of all.
