I Needed a job and this was my first job since 2001. Helping and caring the elderly and disabled people came out to very natural to me. That I found out myself that I love what i was doing. What I like about being a caregiver is the feeling I get inside of me that I was able to help them makes me happy. And I also believe that when you help other people somehow God will give it back to you. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that all the families I have worked for has loved me and trusted me throughout the years that I was caring for them. The least years that I was with a family was 1 year, then 4 years with a couple and a sister of the wife and now 11 years and still with him, He is a quadriplegic (C4) patient and his 98 years old mother. About myself: For the past 15 years, I worked as a personal caregiver to 3 wonderful families. I gave my best to each family I worked for. One thing I can be proud of is they loved me and trusted me and considered me as family member. I am currently working for a quadriplegic patient right now and i am the person that dedicates herself to the job and will continue to do well and improve myself. I am kind, courteous, energetic and alert. The one thing I can offer is my passion to help other people. And if given a chance to help someone I will gladly do it.
