The reasons why I became CNA was my auntie was diagnosed with Dementia, because my family weren't familiar with this diagnosis we had to hire care giver to assistant her with her daily life. Although it was difficult for my family to see someone they love go through this stage, the care giver helped us in many ways to understand and help my auntie. Before I obtain my CNA license I volunteer in some facilities and just seeing the joy on the residents faces and thanking me for just showing up and keeping them company is what I enjoy the most.
