My name is Andrea! I've been a Caregiver for over 10 years. I received my CNA license in Virginia. I've worked with Dementia, Alzheimer's , Hospices, Other. My job description includes helping with personal care and daily activities. Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication. Ensuring the client's home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks. Transporting the client to medical and other appointments , Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs to family.

I have always wanted to work in the medical field. I first started taking medical classes in highschool then went on to college where I focused on Emergency Medicine and became certified as an E.M.T (Emergency Medical Technician). In 2006, I started working as an in home caregiver to a cancer patient. Over the past 18 years, I have continued in this line of work, working with various patients. I absolutely LOVE my job! I have always been drawn to it and I am good at it! I am a very outgoing person with an amazing attitude and personality. I am very patient and kind, understanding and caring. I am dependable and trustworthy. I have empathy and will always treat you with the utmost respect. I go over and beyond my "job duties/job description" because that's the kind of person that I am. I have NEVER been complained about or terminated from any of my jobs. I strive to go over and beyond what is expected from me to make your life easier and to help take the pressure and stress off of you. I am dedicated and always give my all. I own some equipment that I bring with me to help monitor your health: Blood pressure monitor, pulse and SPO2 monitor, stethoscope, diabetes testing kit and basic universal precautions (mask and gloves).
