Supervise and coordinate operation, preventative maintenance, repair and protection of the physical plant and utility services, new construction (minor and major capital outlays), special repairs and other projects as deemed necessary. Direct daily work and overall performance of Supervisors of Building Trades, Chief Engineers I, Supervising Groundskeeper II, Associate Hazardous Materials Specialist, Associate Governmental Programs Analyst and Office Technician. Oversee SAPMS operations. Responsible for timely completion and submission by self and subordinates work reports, disciplinary reports, regulatory reports, employee timekeeping, performance reports, ACA Standards, schedule 9, budget change proposals, concept papers, special repair documents, capital outlay, section 6.00, annual work plan, service requests, construction project requests, contract specifications, contract progress inspections reports, final inspection and contractor evaluation approval, accident reports, training plans and other reports as needed. Monitor key/tool control, safety programs and plant operations budget. Review and provide reports.
