This client prefers a few hours a day, so it is part-time. Here i assist with errand running, taking him to appointments, oxygen administration , he also has diabetes so I help monitor blood sugar levels, administering insulin. He has kidney disease so I also help with his meal preps, along with hypertension, keeping an eye on his bp levels. He is able to complete his own ADLS, but needs a lot of help with transportation and making sure he gets to dialysis, his medication, along with organization of his whole health.

Here, I assisted in completing ADLs, working all shifts, but usually NOC. I worked on a single floor with about 9-12 residents just to myself at night. This was in the memory care side, where I'd keep them safe in their beds if they were to wander. I also changed their attends if they needed it. I was also the only one that could calm them if they needed at night, and I had to learn a lot of de-escalation techniques in order to keep them happy and calm during sun-down hours and throughout the night.
