Hello- I am very social, bubbly, patient. I love working with people , I do count myself as a people person. I do have great listening skills. I am comfortable enough to do any household cleaning or errands if needed. I'm currently going to school for psychology and I do have a job currently working with special needs children

I am one of the most empathic and outgoing people you will meet. I have always worked with others and have a big heart when it comes to giving care, and have based my career around this. I was attracted to being a caregiver after I took care of my grandfather on hospice. I realized how much of a change someone can make, and it hurt my heart knowing some people aren't lucky enough to have family to do it. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the change that you can make in peoples lives. You are making day to day so much easier and more comfortable for both your patient and their family, and that's amazing. A personal achievement I am proud of is studying for my degree while also working fulltime. I have been a fulltime student while working fulltime for the past 3 semesters of college, while taking summer classes and classes over break. I think it's a great example of my ethics and drive!

I think I was born to be a caregiver. I started out running my own daycare out of my home. When my parents were elderly I took care of them. I took in foster children and also did Options for recovery and took in new borns that were exposed to drugs due to their parents addiction. I've had many caregiver jobs plus worked with mentally disabled adults. I'm very compassionate and treat my clients as family. People say I have a calming way when it comes dementia and Alzheimer's clients. I love my work wholeheartedly. My mom always told me find a job that you love and you'll never work a day in your life !

I have more then 5 years of experience working as a CNA and a live in caregiver for home care agencies and have worked in nursing/retirement homes as well. Dependability, reliability, kindness, empathy, calm nature are few of my strongest traits in taking care of my loved ones. I grew up with my grandparents and naturally we take care of our own as it is a cultural thing. I love being around seniors and assist in whatever way I can as they remind me so much of my grandparents who lovingly took cared of us. Making them smile and making them feel comfortable makes me feel complete and happy.

Nurturing and motherly traits have always come naturally to me. I am a mother of 3 but have been caring for my siblings as well as neighborhood children since I was a young girl. I have officially been in healthcare for just about 6 years but have been immersed in the care of family members before it was even my job title. I found through the care of my mom during her hospice stay, that caring for others during life changing events is my passion. I take pride in my work and the help I offer to those in need. It's important for me to mirror qualities of not just hard work and determination but compassion, empithy, and times of being selfless to mold my children into well rounded kind little people. My favorite part of my work is celebrating all the victories with my patients, no matter how small it may seem to them. I value the relationships we build and look forward to going to work to interact with them. I have truly found my life's work. I realized I fell in love with caregiving when going to work was less of work feeling and more of a it makes me happy feeling. I love my job because of my residents. They are what make it worth while for me. The type of serotonin I get from it makes for an amazing caregiving as myself. The bond I have held and compassion for my residents is on another level. They are my pride and joy and I love them so much. I have so much compassion in what I do and I am proud of what I do. That is what makes a good caregiver. I am patient with them and I try and understand their needs and wants. You need to have empathy as I have for them. I enjoy spending time with my residents but what I love most is seeing them heal. As I am also in a rehabilitation center, I strive to make them healthier and visually seeing that they are getting better makes me feel so happy. One of my biggest achievements as a nursing assistant is seeing them become better, most of my achievements are making the residents happier and that is so big to me, so thank you so much in advance for taking the next steps with me and you will not regret it.
