I have more then 5 years of experience working as a CNA and a live in caregiver for home care agencies and have worked in nursing/retirement homes as well. Dependability, reliability, kindness, empathy, calm nature are few of my strongest traits in taking care of my loved ones. I grew up with my grandparents and naturally we take care of our own as it is a cultural thing. I love being around seniors and assist in whatever way I can as they remind me so much of my grandparents who lovingly took cared of us. Making them smile and making them feel comfortable makes me feel complete and happy.

Hi there-I am new to this site. I am 55yrs old and lost my mother in 2016. I spent 10yrs caring for her many ailments before passing away. Even though I had my own family, I came daily to help with bathing, dressing, Drs appt, groceries and errands as needed. My mother had ulcerated colitis and an ileostomy. Through the years she had at least 30+ surgeries from hip, knee, back, and too numerous to count stomach surgeries related to issues from her stomach. Any issue she had that needed special care, I was there to do it. I would do it all again for one more day with her and I miss her like crazy. Through the years I met many people at her Drs apts that always told me they wish they had a daughter like me to help them. I feel I have an understanding of what families need since I've been through it with my own mother for so many years. I am in the process of moving to Chico in the near future and would love to find the right fit with someone special that could use daily hello- with everyday life!

I am waiting to get into the nursing program at Butte, and in meantime am seeking employment as a caregiver. I am a caring and hardworking individual who works well with the elderly population.
