About Tracey

I worked as a Nurse in the Medical field for about 12 years, and left the position to pursue other goals. I realized then, that because I was a fourth generation Nurse, that nursing not only runs in my family, it runs in my blood. Its what I do best, helping other people is what makes me happy. It comes naturally to me. I am also an artist, so I have begun making Nursing an art. I know I am not just making "patients ", comfortable, but I am helping a person. A person with medical issues, but also a person who has a soul, an opinion, a heart, feelings, a family, and a person who is in need. When working with patients, I treat them as I would want someone to treat my own mother and father. Along with respect and genuine care, I also have a wide range of knowledge about different medical diagnosis, different medications, and a wide range of medical procedures. I am happy to return to the medical field, and being a Caretaker is a great way to get my feet wet once again.

1. Multiple family members were diagnosed with cancer and I did not want them to take that journey alone. 2. My passion for helping those who can't help themselves, is overwhelming. I love to make a positive difference in peoples lives. 3. My most recent and most personal achievement is the 5 year journey through 2 cancers I just completed with my husband. Unfortunately, after a valiant fight, cancer defeated him. I was his soul care provider, with hospice nurse visits every 2 weeks. So honored to have been there for him. 4. I am a very compassionate and caring person. I reach out furthest and hardest for those who are struggling. I don't like to see anyone unhappy, suffering or lonely. I understand illness is not tolerated well by most family members, and this is what drives me the hardest to help those in need. I love to cook, clean, garden, read, listen to music, do arts and crafts, crochet blankets and beanies for infusion patients, talk and listen, make people smile.
