About Landry

Hi there! I originally decided to study nursing and work as a caregiver because of my grandma-she got sick and all I wanted to do was help her feel less pain. I would want someone who truly empathized with her to care for her, so that is what I am doing as my contribution back to society, and to help a new type of humanity evolve where we all pay it forward. :) I also love kids and babies. I used to nanny a 6 week old baby girl and 2 year old boy-that was a profound and life changing experience-which made me really see unconditional love and innocence. All in all, I love people and I just want to help enrich people's lives and to either help them recover from disease/illness/etc. or just help them find their passions and live life to the fullest-I believe each moment counts. :)

    Assist clients in daily tasks. Teach them life and professional skills; make appointments, accompany them throughout travels. Correspond with boss and any other staff (i.e. Psychologist). Helped clients with excel sheets, resumes, making appointments, and last but not least-set goals for them to work toward, and then I show them different possibilities for solutions. Younger clients I spend a lot of time outdoors, to release those endorphins so they don't feel restless/bored. As for older adults, I've done everything from: stationary bike, yoga (very mild/easy), Laps around the pool table, water aerobics, nice walk outside (not too far if they aren't able), and I even had one client who loved going to the YMCA every morning and we did a Zumba class! Very entertaining/fun/funny, I must say.
