I have been a caregiver for a long time now. I am in love with the profession because I tend to learn a lot of things. I learnt how to make British breakfast, how to make salad as this will not avail me to know- due to my family background. I am so hardworking and people actually notice. I go as far as wanting to know more about the profession. At some point in my life, I will train to be a nurse. I am so looking forward to it. Before my father passed on, I did not realise I could be a nurse. I looked after him myself on his hospital bed. A month before he passed, he was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. If I had been a nurse, I would have known and treated it accordingly. However, no knowledge was lost. I am happy to help other persons and I am looking to help more. I remember what actually propelled me to be a nurse. I was going to serve my country and I was on the same bus as a pregnant woman. She did not know she was to put to bed that day. I helped her bring forth a baby boy. At first, I did not know that I was a midwife- the experience I had then were just from the movies like Grey's Anatomy that I saw that made me take to doing what I did on the pregnant woman.
