I am one of the most empathic and outgoing people you will meet. I have always worked with others and have a big heart when it comes to giving care, and have based my career around this. I was attracted to being a caregiver after I took care of my grandfather on hospice. I realized how much of a change someone can make, and it hurt my heart knowing some people aren't lucky enough to have family to do it. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the change that you can make in peoples lives. You are making day to day so much easier and more comfortable for both your patient and their family, and that's amazing. A personal achievement I am proud of is studying for my degree while also working fulltime. I have been a fulltime student while working fulltime for the past 3 semesters of college, while taking summer classes and classes over break. I think it's a great example of my ethics and drive!
