Hello! My family and I are new transplants from California, and so far we are loving it here in Austin! A little background on me and my experience: I first became interested in caregiving for housebound seniors when my grandmother fell ill. I offered to help my family care for her while attending jr. college, and really had a wonderful time with her. After she passed I wanted to help other families feel safe and comfortable going to work, find respite, do errands etc knowing that their loved one was in good hands. That is when I decided to take a job as an in-home caregiver. I got a job at Hillendale Home Care in the SF bay area and loved it! I served many families and learned a lot in the process. I still keep in touch with some of the families after we moved, and am so happy many of them still remember me! I took time off from work after a year of caregiving to finish my degree and grow our family. I now have three children and a BA in Psychology. I was voted Student of the Year in 2014 by the Psychology Department and have an extensive experience in research and was asked to be the lab manager for the human development department after just one years time.
